Shared Corporate Services Jamaica (SCSJ) is the hub that provides some corporate services across the Government of Jamaica (GOJ). The Centre supports ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) to deliver efficient, innovative and customer-centric services.
SCSJ commenced operations in 2021 and provides services in human resource management, internal audit, finance and accounts, asset management, procurement, information and communication technology, and public relations and communications.
Sharing these services across the public sector enables MDAs to focus on performing their core functions. This will improve the delivery of public services and enhance the overall operations of government while saving money.
SCSJ provides services in seven areas of operations - human resource management, internal audit, finance and accounts, asset management, procurement, information and communication technology, and public relations and communications.
We always operate with the highest level of honesty.
We are transparent, fair and consistent in all that we do. People must be able to trust us.
We embrace innovation. We are a team that is constantly looking for new and better ways of doing things.
We are quick and flexible. We also think and act differently.
We focus on results. We measure our successes not by what we tried to do, but by what we succeeded in doing. Underpinning the achievement of results, is sound decision making based on data.
We work together with mutual respect, partnership, and appreciation of all perspectives and approaches. We always seek the views of and engage our stakeholders. In so doing, we keep everyone informed and make the necessary changes based on feedback.
